Biology Department

There are four full-time members of staff in this Department under the leadership of Mrs Pat Stewart, Principal Teacher. Accommodation comprises of four laboratories and a generous staff base.

In S1 and S2 and integrated Science course is offered for 4 periods per week. In S3 and S4 Standard Grade Biology is offered for 4 periods per week. In S5 and S6 Higher Still courses at Intermediate 2, Higher and Advanced Higher are offered.

The Department hosts the school Environmental Action Team who have conducted a number of initiatives to reduce waste in the school.
