English Department
 The
Department is made up of 5 full-time teachers under the leadership
of Mrs Lorna Changleng as Principal Teacher. Accommodation in the
Department is made up of 5 classrooms and a large departmental
base.
In First and Second Year, pupils follow our CfE course and have four periods of English per week. In Third and Fourth Year, pupils follow our Standard Grade course and have English four periods per week. In Fifth and Sixth Year we offer National Qualifications courses at Intermediate Two, Higher and Advanced Higher. Intermediate Two and Higher courses are offered for five periods per week and Advanced Higher for four periods.
English Help Sessions take place on a Monday 4 - 5pm in room 33 and Tuesday 1 - 1.45pm in room 5.
There is a regular programme of theatre visits organised by the Department.
