English Department

The Department is made up of 5 full-time teachers under the leadership of Mrs Lorna Changleng as Principal Teacher. Accommodation in the Department is made up of 5 classrooms and a large departmental base.

In First and Second Year the Department teaches English classes for 5 periods per week on a 5 - 14 course. In Third and Fourth Year, Standard Grade courses are offered for 5 periods per week and in Fifth and Sixth Year Higher Still courses at Intermediate 2, Higher and Advanced Higher are offered for 7 periods per week.

There is a regular programme of theatre visits organised by the Department.
