Home Economics Department

There are three teachers in this Department under the leadership of Mrs Donna Renwick, Principal Teacher. Accommodation comprises of three classrooms, two of which are used as food preparation areas and the third is used exclusively for fabric work.

In S1 and S2, a 5 - 14 course is offered to all pupils for 2 periods per week. In S3 and S4, Standard Grade Home Economics is offered for 4 periods per week. In S5 and S6, Higher Still courses in Health & Food Technology are offered at Intermediate 2 and Higher levels and Advanced Higher level in Health & Food Technology.
